Biography

Laura Broxson from NARA will be presenting the documentary ‘Ireland’s Fur Trade (2017)’. Together with the producer Dean Mullen they’ll be answering your questions about the barbarity of Irish fur farms, as well as explaining what the current animal welfare laws in Ireland are, and how campaigners are trying to shut down this industry.
Formed on 1st July 2007, the National Animal Rights Association aims to eliminate all forms of cruelty, abuse, oppression and rights violations against animals in Ireland. It is a voluntary, vegan, animal rights group based in Dublin. NARA has many ongoing campaigns, and are constantly out spreading awareness through protests, demonstrations and information
tables.
