We are working on having some activities for children and will publish these as part of our programme closer to the time. Vegfest is primarily aimed at adults with a very packed schedule of talks and other events aimed at grown ups. While many children that attend enjoy the food fair aspect, our regular face painting, tattoo parlour, samba music, art exhibit events and the general warm and friendly atmosphere. We understand that someone looking for family entertainment may not get their needs met.
Yes, absolutely. All food will be 100% vegan. You will most likely find other dietary options (ie gluten free, raw, etc.) Enjoy!
Yes, Griffith Conference Centre is wheelchair accessible. Dublin Vegfest has an outdoor aspect this year, so it should be noted that some areas of the site may become muddy in wet weather. Facilities for disabled people have been arranged to maximise use of the hard ground that does exist. Where a drop in ground/floor levels exists, ramps will be installed, so that access around the site is maximised. Stewards will be present to assist people in wheelchairs in the event of emergency exiting.
People with disabilities are welcome to head to the front of the queue and can be admitted a bit early. Please notify staff on the day.
Yes, there are baby changing facilities in the venue. Our event map is coming out soon and you’ll be able to check them out before the event.
If you purchased a Supporter’s Goody bag admission, you can stop by the Info Point anytime from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. to pick up your tote bag. Your name will be on our Supporters list.
Afraid not. The venue and the nature of the event (masses of people, heat, etc.) are going to put your animal companion under too much stress.
Assistant dogs are welcome as well as their humans.
Bringing a water bottle is fine; otherwise, food, beverages and more are for sale inside. No glass bottles are permitted on the festival grounds.
