How the Exponential Growth in Factory Farming Has Accelerated the Growth in Veganism
The talk will give a brief overview of factory farming in Ireland and will include an introduction to the work of Animals Behind Closed Doors (ABCD), established in 2020 specifically to campaign for the phasing out of all intensive animal agriculture. Central to the talk is the evolution of ABCD from an end-to-factory-farming campaign to a fully-fledged vegan campaign, and how that transition was inevitable.
