Laura Broxson (NARA): Fur Farming: How a ban in Ireland was achieved / SATURDAY 28th
Laura has been an animal rights activist for over 16 years, working with many groups both in Ireland and internationally. She formed the National Animal Rights Association (NARA) in 2007, which is a vegan, voluntary, pro-intersectional, non-hierarchical group based in Dublin. NARA work at the street, community, national and political representatives levels to advance rights for animals.
Laura will talk about the success of the Ban on Fur Campaign in Ireland which has led to a cross parliamentary party support for a ban on fur farming in Ireland.
