Jacques Brennan / Hungry Soul
Jacques Brennan was born into a vegetarian family in 1962. Growing up vegetarian at that time was not only considered very strange, but it was also ridiculed by many people. However, Jacques understood from a very young age that it was wrong for animals to suffer for the benefit of humans. In time, he came to believe that even vegetarianism was not enough, so he became a vegan. He also knew that eating plants was a healthier way to feed his body and to improve the environment of our planet.
Jacques’ steadfast and unwavering conviction to a vegan lifestyle led to the creation of Hungry Soul. Knowing that what we eat has the greatest impact on our world, he is passionate about Changing the Culture. His cookbook, his vegan cream cheeses, and most importantly his conversation are all focussed on helping people choose this lifestyle that is better for animals, people, and the planet. Together, he believes that we can save the world.
